Phase I – Environmental Site Assessments (ESA)
Prepared in accordance with Ontario Reg. 153/04 – Records of Site Condition, for the purpose of filing a Record of Site Condition or City of Ottawa Site Plan Approval. Phase I ESAs can also be prepared in accordance with CSA Z768-01 (R2016) for due diligence or financing purposes.
Phase II – Environmental Site Assessments (ESA)
Environmental investigation completed for a site to establish the presence/absence of contaminated soil/groundwater for the applicable site condition standards in accordance with Ontario Reg. 153/04. Phase II ESAs can also be prepared in accordance with CSA Z769-00 (R2018) for due diligence or financing purposes.
Supplemental Phase II – Environmental Site Assessments (ESA)
Completion of soil and groundwater delineation programs to support a Record of Site Condition or obtain supplemental information for planning and costing purposes.
Remedial Action Plans
Site specific plans to remediate a property to the applicable site condition standards and a cost estimate that can be used for financing and planning purposes
Brownfield Grant Applications
Preparation, submission and consultation on Brownfield Redevelopment Community Improvement Plans with various municipalities in Ontario.
Excess Soil Management and QPESA Consultation
Planning and consultation by a QPESA to navigate the new Ontario Reg. 406/19 - On-Site and Excess Soil Management Regulation now in effect in Ontario. Paterson has a team of Qualified Persons for Environmental Site Assessment (QPESAs) to prepare the required planning reports and provide expert consultation throughout the project
Remedial Supervision
On site remedial supervision to obtain a Record of Site Condition or site restoration to applicable site condition standards.
Records of Site Condition
Records of Site Condition prepared and submitted to the Ontario Ministry of the Environment Conservation and Parks (MECP) to be filed in the Environmental Site Registry to confirm that the site condition is in compliance with applicable environmental standards.
