Associate and Senior Technologist

 

Chris started his career while still in school, working at Habitech Associates Ltd. through college, and continuing with Habitech for five years after graduation. At Habitech, Chris worked alongside the principal of the company producing architectural drawings and specifications for many residential projects.  In addition to his architectural experience, Chris also gained practical knowledge of construction methods and materials by providing on site construction supervision and deficiency inspections.

 

In 1996, Chris joined Axia Property Management as a Condominium Property Manager, where he managed a variety of residential and commercial condominiums.  In addition, Chris was able to provide condominium board members with designs, specifications and contract documents for tendering on a number of condominium capital replacement projects. 

 

During 2000 to 2002, Chris continued to broaden his knowledge with a progressive interior design firm and a well established Architectural practice.

 

In 2002, Chris joined Laviolette Engineering Inc., which merged with Paterson Group Inc. in 2004.  Since 2002, Chris has completed a number of challenging projects relating to building envelope renewal and replacement,  has become a partner in the firm, and is the Senior Technologist for residential projects.  Chris’ responsibilities include overview and direction of staff regarding Performance Audits, Reserve Fund Studies, and a wide variety of remedial design and construction projects.  Chris also completed several Modernization Plans to renew the exterior facade of older condominium projects, including complete siding replacement design, specifications and construction review.
