Associate and Senior Environmental Project Manager
Eric received his Bachelors of Arts from Carleton University in 1997 in Environmental Studies. Eric worked for the Department of National Defence upon graduation on a short term contract and eventually joined Paterson in June 1997. During the first 10 years of Eric’s career, he was heavily involved in all aspects of field work, including drilling boreholes, excavating test pits, conducting Phase I site inspections, environmental sampling and analysis and on-site inspection for remediation and clean-ups. During the first 10 years his career, Eric expanded on important field and office knowledge, which would thrust Eric’s career towards becoming the Senior Environmental Project Manager. The skills Eric learned early in his career would provide him with the ability to understand a variety of field situations, which has lead Paterson to an extremely successful environmental and geotechnical field program. Eric has been a central part in maintaining schedule and budget for environmental and geotechnical field programs as his command decision making skills and leaderships ensures clients needs are met. Eric is the Senior Project Manager for a wide variety of environmental projects within the Eastern Ontario area including Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Phase II ESAs, Soil and Groundwater Remediations, Designated Substance Surveys and Air Quality Assessments. As the Senior Project Manager, Eric is responsible for directing project personnel, report preparation and overall project success. Eric has proven leadership and ability to manage small to large scale projects within the allotted time and budget.
